Nish Vartanian has been an influential figure in the industry, currently serving as the Non-Executive Chairman of MSA Safety. In this pivotal role, he oversees the company's global operations, which are managed through its two primary segments: MSA Americas and MSA International. Nish has been instrumental in shaping the company's business initiatives, strategic direction, and overall operations. Having joined MSA Safety in 1985 and retired as CEO in May 2024, his leadership and vision have greatly impacted the company's success.

In addition to his role at MSA Safety, Nish actively contributes to several other organizations. He serves on the board of Koppers Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: KOP), the Board of Trustees for the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI), the International Association of Fire Fighters Foundation, and the Allegheny Conference on Community Development. Furthermore, he holds a director position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Pittsburgh Branch.
